Solaredge Radiation sensor

Solaredge has launched environmental sensors! This allows you to see exactly what is happening on your roof and what the conditions are in relation to the performance of the solar panels. This allows you to even better compare different times and days and make predictions for future generation.

There are 4 types of sensors:

• Radiation sensor
• Ambient temperature sensor
• Wind sensor
• Module temperature sensor

The name of the product says it all, of course, but the irradiance sensor is all about how the sun’s irradiance is at that moment. The irradiance sensor measures irradiance between 0-1400 W/m2. It is 154x86x40mm and weighs 340grams. So small so easy still to mount near your solar panels! The sensor is in a powder-coated aluminium housing. It has an operating temperature of -20 to +70 degrees.
