Installation tips for the installer

1. Tools – use a hydraulic/hex press with the appropriate 50 mm² jaw. Perform a tensile test after pressing. (50 mm² is required by the connector-do not use 35 mm² with this kit).

2. Polarity & routing – keep +/- consistent; lay cables short and stress-free.

3. Connect to PDU – lock LVS connectors fully; check for click/lock and tighten protection.

4. Inverter side – use suitable cable lugs (often M8) and the correct tightening torque according to the inverter manufacturer. (See examples in pre-assembled kits).

5. Safety – work de-energised; follow BYD manual. Use cable grommets, conductor end sleeves and strain relief where necessary.
