Growatt NOAH 2000 – Balcony/home battery 2,048 Wh (expandable up to 8,192 Wh)

The Growatt NOAH 2000 is a compact, weatherproof AC-coupled battery for solar installations on balconies and small home setups.
You store the surplus during the day; later NOAH delivers it back to your home via your microinverter. The result: higher self-consumption, less load on the grid.
The base unit has 2,048 Wh (approx. 1.8 kWh usable) and can be stacked up to 8,192 kWh (4 units).

Design with security

The PV side

• 2 MPPTs, 1 string each; max 2×900 W PV-in.
• Voc ≤ 60 V, MPPT range 16-60 V (full power at 30-48 V ).
• Isc 26 A + 26 A. Supports up to 4 panels via Y-parallel cable.
• Tip: Choose panel voltages that stay within 16-60 V MPP, even in winter conditions.

DC output for microinverter

• Max. 800 W output power, 40-50 V output voltage, max. 20 A.
• Connect NOAH output to both MI inputs (Y-cable).

Note: Keep the NOAH firmware updated and select the correct MI brand/model in the app.

Installation – roadmap

1. Location: flat and protected; stackable up to 4×. Tighten fixing bracket with 1.5 Nm (wall bracket 6.0 Nm).
2. Connect PV: panels to PV1/PV2; secure cable with clamp (1.5 Nm).
3. Microinverter: DC output NOAH with Y-cable on both inputs of the microinverter.
4. Mains side: microinverter on power outlet; check MI status.
5. App: connect via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, update firmware and select paired MI model.
6. Test: Check LEDs (PV-in, MI-run, SOC) and check charge/discharge progress.
