You use the Birdblocker to protect your solar panels from birds building nests between the roof tiles and the solar panels.

It gets hot behind the solar panels. When birds build nests behind the solar panels, the ventilation space is filled with branches and nesting material, making it even hotter and reducing the efficiency of the solar panels. There is also a risk of scratching the foil behind the solar panels, resulting in earth faults.

The Birdblocker lets enough air through to cool the panels, but in 99% of cases ensures that birds do not nest under them. The strip is easy to install with 7 clamping brackets per metre and has a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty from van der valk solar systems.
