Growatt HVC 60050-C2 – BMS for ARK HV (incl. SPH cable set)
The Growatt HVC 60050-C2 is the battery management system unit (BMS/BCU) for the
Growatt ARK high-voltage battery system. This version is supplied with a cable set for SPH inverters
(communication & power supply), so you no longer need to order a separate set. Place the BMS on top of the ARK stack;
It monitors the cells, balances, communicates with the inverter and ensures safe charge/discharge control.
SPH cable set included
Plug-and-play with Growatt SPH (3-phase); no additional cable set required.
Safety functions
Cell monitoring, temperature/current limits, pre-charging and fault diagnosis in the BMS.
Seamless ARK integration
Compatible with ARK HV modules (H-A1). BMS on top of the stack, mains connection and cable routing.
Simple commissioning.
Automatic detection via the inverter; parameters and firmware via Growatt tools.
Application & compatibility
- Inverter: Growatt SPH series (hybrid, 3-phase). Cable set for SPH is included in the scope of delivery.
- Batteries: Growatt ARK HV (e.g. ARK-2.5H-A1 modules). Minimum number of modules per stack according to ARK specification.
- Measurement: Use a Growatt 3-phase smart meter for export limitation and intelligent control.
Technical functions (short)
- BMS/BCU for HV stack: cell equalisation, SOC/SOH calculation, temperature/current protection.
- Communication to the inverter (including CAN/RS-485, depending on model), status LEDs.
- Installation position: on top of the ARK stack; fixed data and DC connections with upper battery module.
- Firmware: updateable via inverter/monitoring; logical menus for commissioning.
Installation instructions
- Installation – first place the required minimum number of ARK-HV modules, snap on the BMS as the top unit and fasten according to the instructions.
- Coupling SPH – use the supplied cable set (communication + power supply). Lay shielding neatly and maintain distance from AC power cables.
- Smart Meter – mount the electricity meter directly behind the main connection for correct import/export measurement and battery logic.
- Commissioning – via the inverter menu: Select battery type ARK HV, initialise SOC, set charge/discharge rules and test export limit.
- Thermal & local conditions – Place the stack in a flat, ventilated location; avoid direct sunlight and temperatures below freezing during installation.
and update them first if necessary. This will avoid messages about an invalid battery configuration or communication timeouts.
