Esdec Clickfit EVO end cap for mounting rail without end clamp support

What is it.

The end cap without end clamp support is a small but essential finishing part for Esdec’s ClickFit EVO mounting system, sliding over the end of the mounting rail and giving the rail a tight, sealed head. As no additional end clamp support is required underneath, this is primarily a simple cover and windproofing solution for the end of rails or sections where a clamp support is not or not immediately desired.

The colour difference is useful for aesthetics or to match with other black or grey components in the assembly, or with the colour of the panels, eaves or rail.

Installation tips

• Installation: slide the end cap over the rail end until it is firmly in place. Check that the rail end is free of sharp burrs or dirt so that the cap seals properly.

• Colour choice: choose black for darker rooflines, black rails or black panels; choose grey for lighter rails or when the fitting would otherwise be visually striking. This is purely aesthetic, functionally both variants are the same.

• Combination with other components: ideal for use alongside ClickFit EVO module clamps, couplers or other accessories where a neat end finish is desired; you don’t always need to use an end clamp support to achieve a closing look.

When not?

• If, on the contrary, you need a full end clamp assembly with extra mechanical pressure or a specific clamp support, you usually choose parts that do require clamp support.
