The Growatt SMeter-RS02 P1 smart energy meter is a compact and stylish infrared reading head that allows you to easily read your consumption and feed-in data via the P1 port on your smart meter. Thanks to its magnetic mounting, you can attach this device to your smart meter in seconds, without the need for tools. The Growatt SMeter-RS02 P1 smart energy meter communicates wirelessly via RF with Growatt NEXA 2000 and AURA 5000 systems, providing you with real-time insight into your energy flows.

Plug-and-play installation with no wiring

The sleek, black ABS casing looks modern and fits into any meter cupboard. The magnetic attachment or plug-in mounting makes installation child’s play — no screws, no wiring. The built-in infrared sensor reads the optical counter of your smart meter directly, whilst the RJ12 connection enables communication via the P1 port.

Reliable wireless communication

Stable RF connection up to 120 metres

With RF communication in the 433–915 MHz band and a maximum range of 120 metres (depending on the installation environment), the SMeter-RS02 is also suitable for homes where the inverter is not located right next to the meter cupboard. Power consumption is limited to just 0.5 W. A high level of security and robust signal strength ensure a reliable data stream 24/7.

Although Growatt states that several brands of P1 meters are compatible, we recommend using the Growatt P1 meter.
