Installation instructions for the Esdec Flatfix Fusion Wind Deflector Rear

• Step 1: Installing the first Esdec Flatfix Fusion Wind Deflector Rear : Start by installing the first wind deflector at the back of your solar panels. Make sure the bottom edge of the wind deflector falls exactly between the raised ridges of the tall base elements . The side of the wind deflector should be flush with the outer edge of the high base element. Use an M6 x 12 mounting screw and insert it into the upper slotted hole of the wind deflector. Tighten the screw in the upper mounting hole of the high base element. The tightening torque should be a maximum of 9 Nm.
• Step 2: Positioning the next wind deflectors: Position the second wind deflector in the same way as the first. Ensure that the bottom edge falls correctly between the raised lugs and that the slotted holes of both wind deflectors and the screw holes of the high base element overlap. Fasten the second wind deflector with the M6 x 12 screws in the upper slotted holes.
• Step 3: Mounting the Lower Edge: Mount all wind deflectors on the lower side of the high base elements by inserting the M6 x 12 mounting screws in the lower slotted holes. The tightening torque for these screws should be a maximum of 2 Nm. Take care not to over-tighten the screws.
