Ferroamp Power Distribution Unit 5 SSO – compact DC distribution box for 1 to 5 SSOs

With the Ferroamp Power Distribution Unit 5 SSO, you connect multiple Solar String Optimisers (SSOs) neatly and centrally in a single robust DC distribution box.
Instead of separate fuses and many separate connections, you use a single unit with individual protection for each SSO and a group switch to the DC grid. This makes installation, expansion and troubleshooting much easier.

• Suitable for: 1 to 5 Ferroamp SSOs (Single 8 kW)

Installation tips (nice and practical)

• Number your SSO inputs (SSO-1 to SSO-5). This saves time during commissioning and service.
• Use the right cable glands (M20 for SSO in, M20/M32 for out) to keep IP65.
• Observe cable cross-sections: incoming 1.5-10 mm², outgoing 1.5-16 mm² (L+/L-).
• Install in a service-friendly way: keep door and fuses/switch accessible.
• DC = serious: work without voltage, lock where possible, and always check.
