This expansion module was specially developed for the NEXA 2000 and fits in seamlessly , both technically and visually. Stack it, connect it, done – without complex wiring or additional inverters.
The NEXA 2000 expansion battery is compact, stackable and prepared for plug & play use. Ideal if you want to scale up later when consumption increases (heat pump, EV, working from home) or if you just want more autonomy in dynamic tariffs or emergency power scenarios.

When to choose a NEXA 2000 Expansion Battery?
- If 2 kWh of basic NEXA 2000 storage is too little for your consumption pattern.
- If you want more autonomy during peak hours, dynamic tariffs or possible grid failures.
- If you want to be able to scale up later to 4, 6 or 8 kWh without replacing your system.
- If you want smart control of surplus or cheap hours in combination with Shelly Pro 3EM / Shelly 3EM.

Please note – this is an expansion module, not a standalone battery
The NEXA 2000 Expansion Battery does not contain its own inverter, controller or grid connection. The module:
- only works in combination with the Growatt NEXA 2000 main unit;
- cannot be separately connected to an inverter or 230 V grid;
- is controlled, monitored and monitored via the NEXA 2000.

Installation tips
- 1. Dry, stable surface
Place the expansion battery on a flat, stable surface or wall bracket. Leave some space around it for ventilation and cabling. - 2. Stack according to manual
Stack the modules according to Growatt instructions. Use the original fittings and cable sets and follow the order indicated. - 3. Connecting to the NEXA 2000
Connect the extension to the main unit via the supplied DC and data cables. Check the polarity and connectors carefully – everything should be “click-free” and tight. - 4. Configuration in the NEXA 2000
After physical connection, the additional battery should be recognised in the NEXA 2000’s menu. Go through the installation wizard or follow the manual to set the new total capacity. - 5. Testing
Run the system through one or more charge/discharge cycles and check via the app whether the total kWh is displayed correctly.
