The HYXi HALO (model HYX-MS6000AC) is a smart, compact AC-connected home battery with approximately 3.0 kWh of storage (nominal 3014 Wh). Thanks to its LiFePO4 chemistry(cobalt-free) and sturdy IP66 casing, this is a robust solution for those who want to get more out of their own solar power, without an immediate complete PV system conversion.
The HALO is designed as a plug & play concept with LED display + app and wifi/bluetooth communication. Useful for monitoring, insight and (depending on configuration) smart control of consumption and tariffs.

Installation tips (short but important)
- 1. Placement
Mount on a solid, level surface. Keep space all around for heat dissipation (natural cooling) and for service. - 2. Back-up (off-grid) = separate group
Do you want to use emergency power? Then make a separate backup group/distribution board with only critical consumers. Never put “the whole meter box” on off-grid just like that. - 3. Connect according to the standard
This is AC equipment. Protection, cable diameter and earth leakage/protection devices must match the installation (NEN1010). Preferably have this checked/performed by an installer. - 4. Temperature & service life
LiFePO4 likes “normal” temperatures. Avoid full sun behind glass or a too warm technical room: this helps for lifespan and performance. - 5. App & connection
Provide stable wifi at the installation site (or go for bluetooth/mesh solution). Then you have instant insight into storage, charging/discharging and status.
