Pipelife Polfix+ UVS clamping block 19 mm black RAL9005 (237967)
When your PV installation is soon shining on the roof, you don’t want your pipework to be the weak point. This Polfix+ UVS clamping block 19 mm is just such a “small but essential” component: it holds your 19 mm tube/pipe neatly in place, so that your route stays tight – even after wind, heat and a few seasons of sun.
And yes: it is black RAL9005. That seems cosmetic, but on a roof, it’s secretly quite nice when everything blends nicely between your black cables, roof details and PV stuff.
Why you do want this terminal block (and not tie-wraps)
- Peace and quiet in your routing: no sliding pipe, no rattling pieces, less chance of chafing.
- Service-friendly: everything remains logical and accessible if you want to touch up, measure or replace later.
- Neat = durable: less movement = less mechanical stress on bends, penetrations and connection points.

Where is it most often used in PV?
Think of everything you like to have “out of the wind” and neatly routed:
- Conduit/pipe towards roof penetration or cable tray
- Piping along eaves or technical route across the roof
- Transitions at bends and height differences (where it will pull otherwise)
Installation tips that will save you time (and frustration) later on
1) Route first, then fix
- Lay out your route and determine where bends, feed-throughs and branches are located.
- Tip: Place a clamp just before and just after a bend or culvert. Then you will not pull on your pipe.
2) Distance between clamps
- There is no magic number: distance depends on pipe type,
