Power extension cable 4 metres Gewiss – H07RN-F 5×6mm²
This power extension cable 4 metres Gewiss is a robust, flexible 3-phase extension cable for heavy-duty applications. The cable is made up of a high-quality H07RN-F 5×6mm² rubber cable with a Gewiss CEE plug (GW62042H) on one end and a Gewiss CEE contra plug (GW60042H) on the other. Ideal for connecting power distributors, charging poles, machinery or construction equipment.
The cable is rated for 0.6/1kV and a conductor operating temperature of up to 90°C, making it ideal for demanding environments such as workshops, construction sites and industry.
Application
- Connecting 3-phase 400V machines (saw tables, compressors, welding machines, pumps, etc.).
- Connection between power distributor and fixed connection.
- Mobile EV chargers or mobile charging stations with CEE connection.
- Generator to distribution box at events, construction or temporary installations.
- Professional workshop and business installations where a short, sturdy extension cable is needed.
At 4 metres long, this is a compact, uncluttered cable: long enough for flexible connection, but short enough not to be in the way.

- Oil- and abrasion-resistant – suitable for industrial environments.
- Weatherproof – usable indoors and outdoors.
- Heavy-duty sheathing – good resistance to mechanical stress, ideal on construction sites or workshops.
- Suitable for high currents – 6mm² conductors ensure low voltage drop under heavy loads and short to medium lengths.
Installation and usage tips
- 1. Check the CEE configuration
Make sure that plug and socket match the connection of your installation (same colour, same number of poles and “hour position”). Only use this cable if the CEE connectors exactly match your existing high-voltage sockets. - 2. Fully unwind the cable at high load
For prolonged high current, it is wise to unwind the cable completely. A tightly coiled cable can get extra hot; unrolling it prevents unnecessary heating. - 3. Protect against sharp edges
Lay the cable so that it does not rub against sharp edges or over steel thresholds. If necessary, use cable bridges or rubber mats on walking and driving routes. - 4. Keep dry and clean
Gewiss CEE connectors are robust, but keep contacts as dry and dirt-free as possible. With intensive use, check occasionally for damage or burnt contacts. - 5. Match protection to load
Use the cable behind a suitable circuit breaker and earth leakage circuit breaker to match the maximum current of the connected machines and the specifications of the CEE connectors. - 6. Storage
Roll up the cable loosely (no small tight loops) and store in a dry place. This increases the service life of both cable and connectors.
