Tigo Access Point (TAP), Wireless Communication Unit

Tigo Access Point (TAP) is the new gateway to wirelessly link the Cloud Connect Advanced with Tigo optimisers. Can be paired with up to 300 Tigo optimisers.

Tigo Energy uses Mesh software in its optimisers, so each optimiser acts as a range extender for the TAP. The maximum distance between the TAP and the first Tigo is 10 metres. The next optimiser may be 10 metres away again! The last optimiser may be a maximum of 35 metres away from the TAP. Note that metal can reduce the range, but this can be solved by installing an additional TAP.
