Growatt MOD 6000 TL3-XH – 3-phase Hybrid Inverter (without BP)

The Growatt MOD 6000 TL3-XH is a silent, efficient 3-phase hybrid inverter for private rooftops. This version without BP is ideal if you do want to charge/discharge smartly with a home battery, but do not need emergency power (EPS/backup).

Why this inverter?

2 MPP trackers: flexible design

• Connect 2 strings without shadow on string A affecting yield of string B.

• Min. string voltage approx. 160 V.

• Max. DC peak power together up to ≈ 12 kW (design depends on panel specifications and ambient conditions).

Hybrid charge & discharge

• Works directly with Growatt APX HV batteries.

• Energy flows can be controlled via settings (see below).

• Note: ARK HV is not the standard combination for this inverter; preferably choose APX HV.

Control with Growatt Smart Meter (3-phase)

For correct energy control, the Growatt 3-phase Smart Meter is essential.

• Measures import/export in the meter box.

• Controls charge time, charge current and export limiting.

• Connect with a data cable (RS485) between meter and inverter.

Stand-alone battery inverter

The MOD 6000 TL3-XH can also function as a battery inverter without PV.
If you additionally use another (existing) PV inverter, you can measure and smartly control both the main connection and the existing PV system via TPM-6CT-C-EU with 3× CT coils.

Energy priorities (adjustable)

• Load first – feed consumption first, then charge battery, surplus to grid.

• Battery first – charge battery first, then consumption and grid.

• Grid first – deliver full output back to the grid.

Monitoring & connectivity

Easily connect to the Growatt platform with:
WiFi-X, LAN-X or ShineLink-X (depending on your cabling/reception). So you have production, consumption and battery status in real-time.

No emergency power (EPS)

This non-PP version has no emergency power function and no BP connection for a backup box.
Do you want emergency power in case of failure? Then choose:

• SPH6000TL3-BH (hybrid with EPS), or

• the MOD TL3-XH BP variant in combination with the corresponding backup box.

Application & advice

The MOD 6000 TL3-XH is the price/performance leader for households that want to maximise self-consumption, use dynamic tariffs and do not need EPS. Design your installation with sufficient string voltage and plan the Smart Meter along with it; only then will your battery management really work optimally.
