Ferroamp EnergyHub Wall 14K – 3-phase bi-directional inverter for the Ferroamp DC nanogrid
The Ferroamp EnergyHub Wall 14K (14 kVA) is the “beating heart” of a Ferroamp installation: a bi-directional inverter that converts energy from AC → DC as well as from DC → AC. It connects the 3-phase grid (230/400 VAC) to the Ferroamp DC nanogrid, to which you connect PV via Solar String Optimizers (SSO) and storage/logic control, for example.
Why this EnergyHub Wall 14K is handy
- Bidirectional: can both charge (AC→DC) and feed-in (DC→AC) within the Ferroamp system.
- DC nanogrid (760 V): central DC bus for clear and scalable system construction.
- Measurement = knowledge: measures AC (3-phase) as well as DC (voltage/current) for monitoring and optimisation.
- PLC communication over the DC bus: less loose data cables, but smart control.
- Scalable: up to 4 units in parallel (max. 56 kVA total).

Installation tips (saves hassle)
- IP21 = inside: mount in a dry technical room (not outside, not in humid environments).
- Group box preparation: take into account MCB type B 3×20 A and sufficient space/provisions for possible later expansion (parallel).
- Cable cross-section check: terminals are up to 6 mm² (AC and DC bus) – plan your cabling accordingly.
- DC bus routing: keep the DC bus logical and service-friendly; for lengths approaching 200 m, net design is extra important.
- Thermal: above 30°C, the system may revert; so choose a location with decent ventilation and avoid heat sources.
