Growatt ShineLink-X2 – wireless gateway (LoRa → LAN/Wi-Fi)
The ShineLink-X2 is Growatt’s plug-and-play set to get inverters online without a network cable. The set consists of a ShineRFStick-X2 (dongle in the inverter) and a ShineLanBox-X2 (gateway at your router). Both talk to each other via LoRa with a stable range of up to ±120 m, while the LanBox connects to the internet via LAN or Wi-Fi. Ideal if the inverter is hanging in the shed or attic.

Quick start guide
Installation tips from Radiant Green
-
Place the LanBox near the router; choose LAN for maximum stability.
-
Keep “line of sight” between LanBox and RF stick where possible; avoid large metal objects.
-
In the inverter, check COM port/baud rate and set time zone correctly.
-
Keep inverter firmware up-to-date; this will prevent connection issues.
-
Use one ShineLink-X2 for multiple inverters at the same location (up to 12 units).
