Meet the SolarEdge Power Optimiser S650b, an advanced optimiser that provides efficient power optimisation at the module level, specifically designed for use with SolarEdge inverters. This innovative optimiser maximises the performance of your solar panels, even in changing shade conditions.

With an impressive efficiency of 99.5 %, the S650b prevents any loss that may occur due to product tolerances or shading. This allows you to exploit the full potential of your solar modules and optimise your investment. Furthermore, the Solaredge Power Optimiser S650b offers additional safety by detecting abnormal temperatures of the connected plugs and thus preventing potential safety problems. It also has a voltage interruption at module level, which ensures a safe working environment for installers and firefighters.

The Solaredge Power Optimiser S650b is designed for easy installation. Cable management has been simplified and the optimiser can be easily mounted with just 2 self-tapping screws or the optimiser rail mounting kit with a single screw.

This powerful power optimiser is also fully compatible with bifacial solar panels, giving you even more options for generating renewable energy.

Complete your PV system design! Combine the SolarEdge Power Optimiser S650b with a 1-phase or 3-phase SolarEdge inverter for optimal performance. The S650b can be used for both short and long strings and offers maximum flexibility in the design of your solar power system. Please note the following rules for string design:

• Solaredge single-phase inverter: minimum 6 solar modules with power optimisers in a string capturing sunlight, maximum 25. Maximum 5700 watts peak power in a string.
• Solaredge 3-stage inverter: at least 14 solar modules with power optimisers in one string that capture sunlight, maximum 50, maximum 11250 watts peak.
• Solaredge short string inverter: at least 8 solar modules with power optimisers in one string that capture sunlight, maximum 20, maximum 5625 watts peak power.

Important to know: Solaredge does not recommend combining the P-series and S-series optimisers in one string, unless it is an extension to an existing system. The reason for this is that the S-series optimisers offer more monitoring options (Senseconnect technology) than the P-series optimisers and these additional functions may be lost. So make sure you equip your inverter with the latest firmware version when mixing optimisers.
