YMVK Ground cable 4-core for solar panel installations

The YMVK ground cable 4-core is the ideal choice for connecting a 3-phase inverter to the meter box, especially when the cable has to be buried in the ground. According to the NEN1010 standard, the ground cable should always be buried at a minimum depth of 50 cm.

This ground cable is equipped with an iron sheath and a ground lug, which ensures direct contact with the earth in case of accidental damage. The ground lug replaces the separate earthing conductor, making a 4-core ground cable sufficient to connect 3 phases, neutral and earth for a 3-phase inverter!

It is important to note that the earth titze has a braided core. In contrast to solid core wires, a connector is not suitable here, so use a Wago welding clamp. Simply identify the earth titze with green/yellow insulation tape.

Although XMVK ground cables also exist, we always recommend choosing YMVK ground cable because of better insulation and fire safety.
