With a capacity of 5 kWh and a charging and discharging power of up to 2.5 kW, this system is perfectly suited to the energy consumption of most households. It is not a standard DC-MPPT home battery, but an AC-connected one. This means you cannot connect your solar panels directly to it.

Smart energy storage and usage

The battery communicates with the energy meter via LoRa. This ensures a stable connection, even without Wi-Fi or in the event of internet outages.

Back-up function (EPS)

In the event of a power cut, the AURA 5000 can switch to emergency power for connected devices within <20 milliseconds.

What do you need?

For the system to work properly, you’ll need a P1 dongle or smart meter. This allows the battery to measure energy consumption and manage it intelligently.
Although Growatt states that several brands of P1 meters are compatible, we recommend connecting the Growatt P1 meter.
