SolarEdge Power Optimizer S1000-1GM4MBT – 4.7 m cable

The SolarEdge Power Optimiser S1000-1GM4MBT is specifically designed for commercial and large-scale PV installations. This optimiser maximises energy yield per solar panel thanks to module-level MPPT, with high efficiency up to 99.5%.

The S1000 is designed to connect two solar panels (up to a maximum of 500 Wp per module) to one optimiser. This can halve the number of optimisers required in large installations, saving on costs for cabling and other BoS components. The integrated SafeDC™ technology automatically reduces the voltage to a safe level as soon as the inverter or grid is switched off. In addition, the S1000 features SolarEdge Sense Connect, which continuously monitors connectors and cable temperature to detect overheating early and increase fire safety.

This version comes with a long output cable of 4.7m, allowing flexible placement on the roof.

Application

The S1000 is suitable for commercial PV systems in combination with SolarEdge inverters such as the SE16K to the SE40K. Up to 30 optimisers can be connected per string, with a total connected power of up to 18,500 W, depending on the inverter and configuration.

Thanks to module-level monitoring via the SolarEdge platform, faults can be easily detected, minimising downtime and maintenance costs.
