With the Easee Equalizer HAN load balancing, you can automatically regulate the power distribution between your Easee charging point and the rest of your installation. This prevents overloading of your main connection and blown fuses whilst charging. What’s more, the Equalizer continuously reads your current consumption via the HAN port and sends this data wirelessly to the charging robot. This allows you to charge faster when possible and at a lower rate when necessary, completely automatically.

Thanks to the Equalizer, you can utilise the maximum safe charging capacity of your connection without the need for expensive upgrades. As soon as there is little other power consumption, the car charges at full power. As soon as the home requires more power, the system automatically reduces the charging rate. In addition, the module allows multiple Easee charging points to be connected to a single supply. You can also use the Easee app to monitor the total energy consumption of your home and charging point. In short, you charge more intelligently and safely. Please note: this is the HAN version (EAN 7090052310410, Easee no. 80101) with an RJ45 connector for the HAN port. This version is not interchangeable with the P1 variant, as both the connector and the communication protocol differ. The HAN port is particularly common on energy meters in markets such as Scandinavia. Therefore, do not simply connect it to the standard P1 port with an RJ12 connector. Always check which type of communication port your energy meter has.

The Equalizer HAN is designed for installation in or near the meter cupboard, indoors. Thanks to its IP40 protection rating, the module operates reliably under all normal indoor conditions. You can easily install it using the magnetic backplate or the wall-mounting kit supplied. Furthermore, the automatic load balancing continues to function even if the internet connection is temporarily lost, ensuring your installation remains protected at all times. As the HAN version supports a cable distance of up to 200 m to the smart meter, you have great flexibility in terms of installation.
