The Enphase Communications Kit (model COMMS-KIT-EU-01) is a wireless USB kit that ensures reliable communication between the Enphase IQ Gateway Metered and the IQ Battery 3T/10T home batteries. This kit is an essential part of your Enphase energy management system: without the Communications Kit, the system cannot function correctly. Plug-and-play via USB and easy to install next to your IQ Gateway.

Smart wireless technology at 2.4 GHz

Stable connection via Bluetooth Low Energy and 2.4 GHz radio

The Communications Kit contains a wireless radio operating on the 2.4GHzfrequency band and uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) during system setup. The Enphase Installer App displays the signal strength between the Communications Kit and your IQ Battery, allowing you to check immediately whether communication is optimal. Three or more bars (out of five) ensure a good level of communication, so your energy management system always runs smoothly.

Simple installation and reliable operation

Plug-and-play USB connection with flexible mounting options

The Communications Kit is simply connected to the IQ Gateway via a USB cable and can be secured to a wall or panel using screws. Thanks to the two mounting cut-outs or the use of cable ties, it can be installed in virtually any location. Please note: do not install the kit inside a metal enclosure, so that the wireless signal is not shielded. For optimal performance, the IQ Gateway software must be updated to version 7.x.x or higher.
