The 100 metre Enphase Control Cable is the indispensable communication cable that ensures flawless data communication between your Enphase IQ Battery 5P and the Communications Kit of the IQ Gateway. This high-grade FireFighter® 430 Series cable is a 22AWG multi-pair RS-485 control cable rated at 600V, specially suited to RS-485 data transmission as used within the Enphase Energy System. With a reel of no less than 100 metres you have plenty of flexibility for even the most extensive installations.

This 22AWG cable with tinned copper conductors and polyethylene (PE) insulation offers outstanding shielding thanks to both an aluminium/polyester foil and a tinned copper braid shield with 65% coverage. This double shielding guarantees interference-free data transmission, even in environments with a lot of electrical noise. With a nominal impedance of 120 Ω and a low capacitance (36,1 pF/m), the cable is optimally matched to RS-485 applications such as Modbus, BACnet MS/TP, HART and CanOpen – and of course the wired control communication of Enphase.

The outer sheath is made of halogen-free LSZH FireFighter® SHF-1 material, which ensures minimal smoke development and no toxic gases in the event of fire. The cable meets strict fire standards (IEC 60332-1, IEC 60332-3-24, IEC 60754, IEC 61034) and is classified under Euroclass Dca,s1,d2,a1. With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +90°C and UV resistance according to ISO 4892-2/A, this cable is excellently suited to both indoor and outdoor applications in the Dutch climate.
