The Enphase Zigbee Wireless Range Extender (COMMS-24-EXT-INT-01) is an easy-to-install, plug-and-play USB dongle that extends the range of the Enphase Zigbee network between the IQ Gateway, IQ System Controller and the IQ Batteries. If your home battery is located some distance from the IQ Gateway or there are obstacles between the devices, this range extender ensures a stable and reliable wireless connection on the 2.4 GHz band.

Plug-and-play solution for a strong Zigbee signal

Thanks to its compact USB form factor, you can easily connect the dongle to a standard 5V/1A USB power adapter (such as a common Apple or Samsung smartphone charger). The internal antenna and transmit power of 6.3 mW (8 dBm) ensure reliable RF performance with a data rate of 250 Kbps. Commissioning is carried out via the Enphase Installer App, with the extender being provisioned via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

Operates under a wide range of conditions

The range extender operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C, making it suitable for both indoor and (enclosed) outdoor applications. For outdoor installation, Enphase recommends a suitable IP55 or NEMA 3R enclosure. Ideally, position the extender halfway or in line of sight between the IQ Gateway and the IQ Batteries for optimum signal quality.
