The Esdec FlatFix Wave Dual Start Unit 4P DR1 forms the basis of every east-west solar panel field on a flat roof. Thanks to the smart click system, you simply fold the start unit open, after which the tall base elements click into place. This lets you build a sturdy field extremely quickly, without loose screws or extra tools. Moreover, this start unit is suitable for panels with a width of 990 to 1070 mm.

Well-considered design with integrated bonding

Fewer parts, more convenience

Esdec builds the FlatFix Wave with integrated equipotential bonding. The serration at the top of the tall base grips into the frame edge of the panel, while the serration at the bottom grips into the profile. As a result, additional bonding between the metal parts is not needed. This saves you time during installation. The dual layout also ensures an optimal spread of the yield across the day, because the panels face both east and west.

Tailored ballast and a low roof load

The Esdec FlatFix Wave Dual Start Unit is designed for roofs with a pitch of up to and including 5 degrees. You ballast the system with easy-to-handle blocks of 4 kg, which lets you distribute the load precisely according to the layout plan from the FlatFix Wave calculator. Moreover, the aerodynamic wind deflectors divert the wind neatly, so the field stays stable even in strong wind. In short, this system combines a solid anchoring with a light roof load.
