Versatile perforated tape on a 10-metre roll

The 26mm galvanised steel mounting strip is a handy consumable used by fitters on virtually every solar installation. Thanks to the continuous perforations, you can easily bend and cut the tape to size. This allows you to securely fasten cables, conduit and cable ducts to the loft, roof boarding, rafters or façade. This strap also provides a quick, reliable fastening around the inverter and cable penetrations. The strap is 26 mm wide and 1.0 mm thick, supplied on a practical 10-metre roll.

Practical and quick to use

Standard size 26 x 1.0 mm

This size is a common standard, meaning the tape works well with commonly used brackets and clamps. As you simply cut it to length and bend it around pipes or profiles, you can work very efficiently. Furthermore, the evenly spaced holes provide flexible fixing points. In short, a universal tool that no toolbox should be without.

Galvanised steel: ensure correct application

For interior work and temporary fixing

The strip is made of galvanised steel and therefore not stainless steel. It is ideally suited for work within the roof surface, in lofts and for temporary fixing. Outside the roof surface, however – and certainly when in direct contact with aluminium profiles or stainless steel roof hooks – we recommend a stainless steel version (A2/A4). This will prevent rust and galvanic corrosion in the long term. Please note: never use this mounting strip for structural purposes, i.e. not for wind anchoring, absorbing panel forces, earthing or lightning protection. Separate requirements and materials apply for these purposes.
