The Growatt MOD 8000TL3-HU hybrid inverter delivers 8000 W of rated AC power and is fully battery ready, so you are already investing with the future in mind. Thanks to two independent MPP trackers the system harvests steadily, even when your strings face different directions. The inverter is also three-phase (3W+N+PE), so it loads the grid in a balanced way. That way you get the maximum out of your solar panels and battery.

High efficiency and safe conversion
This transformerless inverter reaches a maximum efficiency of 98.6% and a European efficiency of 98.1%. As a result, hardly any energy is lost along the way. The MOD 8000TL3-HU has an integrated back-up function without a separate back-up box, so critical loads keep running during a power cut. The inverter also supports accurate AFCI arc fault protection and reliable Type II surge arresters on both the DC and the AC side. In short, the Growatt MOD 8000TL3-HU hybrid inverter combines yield with safety. For a complete installation you often combine the inverter with solar panels such as the Jinko Solar Cheetah 320Wp on the PV inputs.
Robust design for all weather conditions
IP66 enclosure for indoor and outdoor mounting
With protection class IP66 you can install the inverter indoors as well as outdoors, even in changing weather conditions. The unit works reliably at an operating temperature of -25 °C to +60 °C, while the fanless natural cooling ensures silent operation of no more than 29 dB(A). The inverter also features a DC switch, insulation monitoring, anti-islanding and earth leakage monitoring. You can easily mount a complete PV system on a roof construction such as the Solarstell Connect flat roof mounting set.
Installation and mounting in practice
What to watch out for during mounting
- Mount the inverter vertically with a tilt angle of no more than 15° on a fire-resistant, load-bearing surface.
- Keep at least 500 mm of free space all around and at least 300 mm underneath the unit for cooling.
- In direct sunlight, fit a canopy above the inverter and avoid exposure to rain and snow.
- Tighten the M5 enclosure screw to 5 Nm and use the supplied PV connectors.
- Set the DC switch to OFF and check that the DC voltage is below 36 V before you connect.
- For the AC output, use copper cable of 4-6 mm² (without battery) up to 6-8 mm² (with battery).
