Installation tips for DIYers and installers
- 1. Check your grid connection
This inverter is intended for a 3×400 V + N connection. It is not suitable for 3×230 V (without neutral). - 2. String design within voltage and current limits
Calculate your strings so that you stay within the voltage range of 140–980 V and make the best possible use of the full-power MPPT range. Pay particular attention to Voc at low winter temperatures and Isc in relation to the 11 A / 15 A limits. - 3. Distribute roof surfaces smartly over the 2 MPPTs
Place different orientations (for example east/west or south/flat roof) on separate trackers to get the most out of your panels. - 4. Mount in a cool, accessible place
Choose a solid wall, preferably out of direct sunlight, with enough space around it for cooling and servicing. Thanks to IP65, the inverter can be installed indoors or outdoors. - 5. Activate monitoring straight away
After commissioning, connect the inverter in the FusionSolar app, set the grid code and communication and check the live yield. - 6. Prepared for a battery
If you want to add a Huawei home battery later, reserve space next to the inverter now and, if desired, install an empty conduit for the battery cables in advance.
