Advanced technology and active safety
AFCI arc fault detection and three-phase asymmetrical control
This inverter combines a European efficiency of 98.2% with smart protection features. The built-in arc-fault protection (AFCI) actively detects arcs, which improves fire safety. The unit also supports 100% three-phase asymmetrical loading and even 200% overload in off-grid operation. Thanks to connector temperature detection on both the PV and the battery connections, the inverter continuously monitors safety. The system is also prepared for pairing with a LUNA2000 home battery and, combined with a SmartGuard, for a full whole-home backup solution.
Robust design for all weather conditions
IP66 enclosure and quiet natural cooling
Thanks to the IP66 protection rating, you can install the inverter both indoors and outdoors. The unit works reliably across a wide operating temperature range from -25 C to +60 C and up to an altitude of 4,000 m. Because cooling runs entirely on natural convection, the noise stays below 29 dB and there are no fans that can wear out. That gives you a quiet and durable system that stands up to demanding conditions.
Installation and mounting in practice
What to watch out for during mounting
- Mount the inverter vertically or with a maximum backward tilt of 15 degrees for optimal heat dissipation.
- Keep free space all around: at least 300 mm above, 400 mm below and 350 mm at the sides.
- Use the supplied M6x50 stainless steel expansion bolts and tighten the mounting bracket to 5 Nm.
- Strip the AC wires over 17-19 mm and tighten the wires to 2.8-3.2 Nm.
- Use only the positive and negative DC connectors supplied with the inverter.
- Set the DC SWITCH to OFF before you connect the DC connectors.
When mounting, follow the manufacturer’s official installation manual and the applicable regulations.
