Isolator switch Hensel

The isolator switch is installed between the meter cupboard and the inverter so that the inverter can be safely disconnected from the grid.

Under the new NEN1010, installers are required to fit an isolator switch near the inverter, so that you can work on the inverter safely when necessary. This is mainly important when several people are working on the system, or when the inverter is a long way from the consumer unit.

Please note! Once you have fitted the isolator switch, make sure you do not switch the earth cable along with it.
