Pure Solar, Smart Solar and Smart charging modes

This Ratio Solar charging post comes standard with Dynamic Load Balancing and the option to charge on your own solar power. As a result, the charging speed automatically adapts to the other consumption in your home or office, so your connection never becomes overloaded. Charging on solar energy is possible from as little as 1.4 kW, so even with a small number of PV panels or little sunshine the charger simply keeps going. In addition, you choose the charging mode yourself: ‘Pure Solar’ to charge green and free of charge, ‘Smart Solar’ for a combination of sun and grid, and ‘Smart’ to charge entirely on grid power. Via the free Ratio App you also have insight into your current charging session and your charging history anytime, anywhere. You can also lock or unlock the charger remotely, set delayed charging and use the ‘Plug & Charge’ mode to start without any cards.

Robust housing and safe connection

IP54, IK08 and DC residual current detection

The plastic housing protects the electronics with protection rating IP54 and impact resistance IK08. This makes the charger resistant to dust, splashing water and impacts, which makes it suitable for outdoor installation in all weather conditions. The charging post also has built-in DC residual current detection, so you do not need a separate type B residual current circuit breaker. The connection on the installation side is 3-phase with an input voltage of 380-400 V and a connectable conductor cross-section of 6 mm². An integrated energy meter and the OCPP 1.6 protocol are part of the standard equipment as well. This way you add the charger to your network via LAN or Wi-Fi and export your charging logs with ease.
