The Solaredge 1-phase 3.68 kW inverter with EV charger is an EV charging point and an inverter in one. Save space and costs by installing just one device.
SolarEdge inverters are known for maximising yield by optimising every panel individually with power optimizers. Very useful if you have a patch of shade that moves across all the solar panels during the day, or if you want to use many different orientations. For an inverter like this to work, every panel in the set must be fitted with a SolarEdge optimizer. This inverter also features the HD-Wave technology we know from the regular 1-phase Solaredge inverters.
The inverter with EV charger is unique because it can achieve a shorter charging time thanks to the solar boost function. This means it draws power from the solar panels and from the grid at the same time, charging up to 2.5 times faster than a standard EV charger.
Please note! A 1-phase charger cannot charge a 3-phase car. The other way around it is possible: a 3-phase charger can charge a 1-phase car. This is the largest 1-phase inverter that may be installed on a 3x25 amp grid connection.
Do not forget to order the EV charging cable as well! You can also use the inverter purely as an inverter at first and only put the EV charging section to use at a later stage, by connecting a separately available charging cable.
The factory is located in Israel and offers a 12-year warranty. You can connect this inverter to the internet with an Ethernet cable. A Wi-Fi connection can be set up using a Wifi Plug-in.
