SolarEdge Home Network Plug-in ENET-HBNP-01

Upgrade your solar energy installation with the Solaredge Home Network Plug-in (previously known as the Solaredge Energy Network Plug-in). Thanks to the advanced protocol from Solaredge, based on Mesh technology, you are assured of reliability and a greater range.

Features:

• Makes your Solaredge Home Network compatible.
• Enables a wireless connection with, among others, the Solaredge inline energy meter and the Solaredge Home hot water controller S2.
• Article number ENET-HBNP-01, suitable for 1- and 3-phase inverters with Setapp, without display.
• Can be connected to the GSM module connection, for inverters with an article number ending in BEN4.

Easy Installation:

1. Switch off the inverter and wait 5 minutes.
2. Attach the Solaredge Antenna to a cooling fin.
3. Feed the cable through the communication gland at the bottom of the inverter.
4. Install the Home Network Plug-in at the top right of the communication board.
5. Connect the cable from the Antenna to the plug-in.

🔧 Important:

Only use the ENET-HBNP-01 if the inverter has a dedicated Home Network Plug-in slot. This is also explained visually in Appendix A of the document: the plug-in slot is easy to recognise by a separate connector on the communication board.

If you use the wrong kit (such as the ENET-HBCL-01 on an HW-ready model), this can cause damage, even though the connection appears to fit.
