The SolarEdge Power Optimizer S1000-1GMXMBT is SolarEdge’s most advanced and most cost-effective optimiser for commercial and large-scale ground-mounted installations. With module-level MPPT, this power optimiser gets the maximum yield out of every solar panel, even under changing conditions such as shading or soiling. Thanks to the long 4,7 m output cable, this version offers extra flexibility when designing and installing your roof or field system.

Up to 99,5% efficiency and dual panel connection

The S1000 supports the connection of two solar panels in series per optimiser (up to 1.000 W nominal input power). This halves the number of optimisers, cables, fuses and combiner boxes — considerably reducing your BoS costs. The optimiser is suitable for high-power and bifacial PV panels and delivers up to 18 A output current for longer strings and more power per string. The weighted efficiency is 98,8% and the maximum efficiency runs up to 99,5%.

Built-in safety and smart maintenance

SafeDC™ and SolarEdge Sense Connect for maximum fire safety

The integrated SafeDC™ technology automatically reduces the DC voltage to a touch-safe level of 1 V as soon as the inverter or the grid is switched off. In addition, SolarEdge Sense Connect continuously monitors the connectors for temperature deviations, so that overheating caused by installation errors or wear is detected at an early stage. Module-level monitoring via the SolarEdge platform enables accurate diagnostics and remote troubleshooting — ideal for commercial installations where uptime is crucial. The IP68-rated enclosure withstands all weather conditions, from –40 °C to +85 °C.
