Solaredge wind sensor

Solaredge has launched environmental sensors on the market! With these you can see exactly what is happening on your roof and what the conditions are compared to the performance of the solar panels. This allows you to compare different moments and days with each other even better and to make predictions for future yield.

There are 4 types of sensors:

• Irradiance sensor
• Ambient temperature sensor
• Wind sensor
• Module temperature sensor

The name of the product says it all of course, but with the wind sensor it is about how hard the wind blows on the roof. The wind sensor measures between 0-50 m/s with a maximum deviation of 0.5 m/s. It is 165x105x105mm and weighs 750gram. So small and therefore still easy to mount near your solar panels! It has an operating temperature of 0 to +70 degrees.
