The Zaptec Sense P1 Wifi bundle reads your energy consumption in real time via the smart meter and distributes the available capacity smartly across your Zaptec charging station. This prevents overloading of the grid connection, while you still charge as quickly as possible. In addition, the module communicates wirelessly via Wi-Fi with the Zaptec ecosystem, so you easily keep a grip on your charging power. Thanks to the support for dynamic energy tariffs and solar panels, you also charge smartly and cost-effectively.

Zaptec developed this module to use the available power as efficiently as possible. As a result, you charge as many electric vehicles as possible, as fast as the connection allows. The module communicates via Modbus with a DIN rail energy meter and controls the charging power in this way. Furthermore, the Sense supports both Wi-Fi (2,4 GHz) and Bluetooth and Ethernet, so you set up the connection entirely as you wish. Does the internet connection drop out? Then the system reduces the charging current to a safe minimum value of 6 A, which you can adjust in the Zaptec Portal.

The Zaptec Sense is a compact module that you easily mount with the supplied magnetic strip or double-sided tape. This way you install everything quickly by your meter cupboard. The module is designed for indoor use and works reliably at ambient temperatures from -20 to 40 degrees Celsius. In addition, the module consumes only 1,5 W in standby, which keeps energy consumption low. In short, the Zaptec Sense P1 Wifi bundle combines a small format with smart functionality.
