Growatt MOD 10KTL3-XHL BP – 3×230 V (without neutral)
The Growatt MOD 10000 TL3-XHL BP is a 3-phase hybrid inverter specifically for the
Belgian 3×230 V grids without a neutral conductor (3L/PE, delta). Perfect for homes and SMEs where there is no neuter
but do need battery-ready solar energy with export control and silent operation.
For 3×230 V without neuter
Special XHL design: 3-wire connection (3L/PE). No N required or used.
Hybrid & battery-ready
Works with Growatt APX HV batteries for smart charge/discharge and peak smoothing.
Quiet & efficient
Fanless convection, high efficiency and IP66: suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor use.
Export-limiting
With Growatt 3-phase Smart Meter you control feed-in to zero injection where needed.
What makes the XHL variant different?
- Grid compatibility – designed for 3×230 V without N (Belgian delta grids). Not for 3×400/230 V with neutral.
- AC connection – three phases + PE. All measurements and control are line-line; no neuter is used or created.
- Backup option – the BP series has no backup power as standard. If required, add a Growatt Backup Box MOD XH-BP for EPS groups.
Design & performance (brief)
- AC power: 10 kW nominal, 3-phase 3L/PE (3×230 V)
- MPP trackers: multiple MPPs with 2 strings per MPP (model dependent) – ideal for East/West or part-shade
- DC side: high voltage range (HV string design); modern TOPCon/bifacial modules suitable within Isc/Voc limits
- Efficiency: high static efficiency; standby consumption low due to transformerless design
- Enclosure: IP66, operation -25…+60 °C (typical); natural convection, no fans
- Monitoring: Wifi/LAN/ShineLink dongle; app/portal with live control and battery statistics
- Warranty: 10-year manufacturer’s warranty (extension possible, manufacturer’s conditions)
Installation tips (Radiant green)
- Check the grid type – confirm with the grid operator/installation documents that it is a 3×230 V without N connection (3L/PE).
- AC wiring – connect only L1-L2-L3 and PE; no neuter connections or bridges. Check direction of rotation and selectivity/automation.
- Strings – distribute strings logically across MPPs. Consider frost-Voc, max Isc per tracker and symmetrical phase injection.
- Smart Meter – place Growatt 3-phase meter directly behind the main connection (3-wire metering) and link via RS-485 for export-limiting & battery logic.
- Battery – combine with Growatt APX HV; set Load first, Battery first or Grid first as required. Test charge times and peak shaving.
- Backup (optional) – desire emergency power: provide a Backup Box MOD XH-BP and create a separate critical-group divider (router, light, refrigerator/freezer).
When to choose the MOD 10KTL3-XHL BP?
- You have a 3×230 V connection without a neuter and want battery-ready PV without inverters or artificial N.
- You want zero injection or smart control of dynamic tariffs with a reliable 3-phase meter.
- You appreciate quiet hardware (fanless), IP66 and quick commissioning with clear menus.
use the right inverter variant for each grid type. Avoid cross-connections via neutral conductors or auxiliary transformers.
