Modular LiFePO4 expansion module for the BYD Battery-Box HVM+ system
The BYD Battery-Box HVM+ 2,76kWh is the base module with which you build your home battery flexibly. Each module delivers 2,76 kWh of initial capacity and a nominal voltage of 51,2 V. In addition, you stack between 3 and 8 modules in a single tower, so that you can put together an HVM+ system from 8,28 kWh up to 22,08 kWh. As a result, this module is a perfect match for both smaller and larger solar energy installations. Thanks to the modular design, you can moreover expand at any time and at any SOC.
Safe and durable LiFePO4 technology
Lithium iron phosphate for a long service life and high safety
BYD builds this module with LiFePO4 cells, the safest and most stable lithium chemistry. As a result, you benefit from a long service life and a built-in balancing optimizer that keeps the cells in balance automatically. In addition, after 3650 cycles or 10 years of use the system still retains more than 60% of its usable energy. The smart battery management also regulates the SOC automatically, while remote diagnostics and OTA updates keep the system up to date. This way your storage works reliably for years.
Robust design for indoor and outdoor use
IP55 protection and high charge/discharge power
This module performs reliably in all weather conditions. Thanks to the IP55 protection class, you can place the system both indoors and outdoors in a free-standing floor setup. In addition, the HVM+ system delivers a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 50 A, with a peak of up to 80 A for 15 seconds. As a result, your storage responds quickly to peaks in consumption and generation. The system also operates between -10°C and +50°C and is compatible with leading single-phase and three-phase inverters.
