The Askoma electric built-in element is suitable for continuous use. Ideal for keeping your buffer tank at temperature.

To heat 1 litre by 1°C, 1 kcal is required; converted, 860 kcal together make 1 kW

How many kW you need therefore depends on how many degrees you want to heat how many litres of water by. The normal cold water temperature is 8°C degrees.

A calculation example:

To heat 200 litres of cold water to 95°C requires 200L x (95-8°C) = 17400kcal or 20kwh. With a 3,5kw heating element, 5,7 hours are needed.
