The Huawei SUN2000-10K-MAP0 inverter is a powerful 3-phase string inverter with a rated AC power of 10,000 W, ideal for larger residential roofs, farms and small commercial installations on a 3×400 V + N connection. Safe and future-proof technology
Active safety and 200% overload capacity
Thanks to arc fault detection (AFCI), rapid shutdown (RSD with optimizer) and connector temperature detection on the PV and battery connections, the inverter actively monitors the safety of your installation. The Huawei SUN2000-10K-MAP0 inverter also supports a 100% three-phase asymmetrical load and delivers 200% overload off-grid for 10 seconds, so heavy starting loads are no problem. The integrated residual current monitoring unit (RCMU), insulation detection and surge protection (TYPE II, AC and DC) ensure reliable operation. The inverter is future ready as well: together with a SmartGuard the system provides whole-home backup.

IP66 enclosure and quiet natural cooling
Thanks to the IP66 protection rating you can install the inverter both indoors and outdoors, even in less sheltered locations. Because the inverter is cooled by natural convection, it runs exceptionally quietly (≤ 29 dB) and without a fan. The operating temperature range runs from -25°C to +60°C and the inverter works at altitudes of up to 4,000 m, which makes it suitable for a wide variety of European climate zones. Weighing just 21 kg, the inverter is easy to mount and its night-time power consumption stays below 5.5 W.
Installation and mounting in practice
What to watch out for during installation
- Mount the inverter vertically or with a maximum backward tilt of 15 degrees for optimal heat dissipation.
- Keep at least 300 mm of free space above, 400 mm below and 350 mm at the sides.
- Reserve at least 1000 mm of free space at the front for installation and cooling.
- Tighten the M6 mounting bolts to a torque of 5 N·m.
- Strip the insulation from the AC output cable over 17-19 mm and tighten the conductors to 2.8-3.2 N·m.
When mounting, always follow the manufacturer’s official installation manual and the applicable regulations.
