The Huawei SUN2000 5K-MAP0 inverter is a compact 3-phase string inverter with a nominal power of 5,000 W. Smart technology and safe operation

Active safety with AFCI and connector temperature detection

This Smart Energy Controller has 2 MPP trackers, so you make optimal use of panels on different roof surfaces or in an east/west layout. In addition, the inverter offers a wide MPPT voltage range of 160 to 1,000 V and a start-up voltage of 160 V. The built-in arc fault detection (AFCI) and the connector temperature detection on the PV and battery connections considerably increase safety. The device also supports 100% three-phase asymmetrical loading, so you can control the power per phase flexibly.

IP66 enclosure and quiet natural cooling

Thanks to the IP66 protection rating, you can install the Huawei SUN2000 5K-MAP0 both indoors and outdoors, because the enclosure is dust- and waterproof according to European quality standards. The inverter works with natural convection and therefore produces a maximum of 29 dB of noise, which is exceptionally quiet. Moreover, the device operates reliably across a wide operating temperature range of -25 C to +60 C and up to an altitude of 4,000 m. That keeps your yield up to the mark even in demanding conditions.

Installation and mounting in practice

What to watch out for during installation

• Mount the inverter vertically or with a maximum backward tilt of 15 degrees for good heat dissipation.
• Keep at least 300 mm of clearance above, 400 mm below and 350 mm on both sides.
• Reserve at least 1,000 mm of clearance at the front for installation and cooling.
• Use the supplied stainless steel M6x50 expansion bolts and tighten the mounting bracket to 5 N.m.
• Set the DC SWITCH to OFF before you connect the DC input cables.
