The SigenMate 2700 Ultra home battery is the latest generation of plug-and-play energy storage from Sigenergy. Thanks to its compact design, this system combines battery storage, smart energy management and AI technology in a single user-friendly solution. What’s more, it’s ideal for homes with a balcony-mounted solar system, micro-inverters or a smaller solar panel installation. This allows you to get more out of the solar energy you generate yourself, whilst reducing your energy costs.

Each module delivers 2,688 kWh and the system easily scales to match your consumption. In addition, the battery supports up to 4,000 W of solar panels via four independent MPPT trackers, ensuring you continue to generate optimal power even in changing sunlight conditions. Via the smart mySigen App, the system learns your consumption patterns and automatically optimises when energy is stored, used or fed back into the grid.

Forward-looking AI energy management

Whereas traditional batteries mainly react to the present moment, the SigenMate 2700 Ultra home battery looks ahead. The integrated AI analyses your consumption, predicts solar yield and automatically adjusts the charging and discharging process accordingly. This allows you to make the most of your own solar power and reduces the amount of energy you draw from the grid.

Sigenergy constructs the battery using safe LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) cells with a cell capacity of 105 Ah. This ensures that capacity remains high even after many cycles, allowing you to enjoy a long, reliable service life. What’s more, the system scales up modularly: start with a single module and easily expand later with additional SigenMate BAT 2700 modules, each with a capacity of 2.688 kWh, up to a maximum of six per SigenMate. This means the battery adapts as your energy requirements increase, for example due to a heat pump or an electric car.

Robust design for indoor and outdoor use

IP66 housing and reliable backup power

Thanks to its robust IP66 housing, you can install the SigenMate 2700 Ultra home battery both indoors and outdoors. The system operates reliably even in changing weather conditions, with an operating temperature range of -20 to 55 °C. Furthermore, a multi-layered safety architecture continuously monitors the battery’s temperature, voltage and operation.

In the event of a power cut, your household will continue to run as normal. A single module delivers 1,400 W of backup power with a peak of 1,800 W for ten seconds. If you connect several units in parallel, the backup power scales accordingly: two units provide up to 2,800 W and three units even up to 3,600 W. This allows you to easily keep essential appliances such as your fridge, washing machine and lighting running.

Installation and fitting in practice

What to bear in mind during installation

• Place the battery horizontally on a flat, load-bearing surface and do not place it upside down.
• Keep the battery at least 20 mm away from the wall during use to allow for cooling.
• Connect modules with 16 to 60 V and a maximum of 32 A per channel to each PV input.
• Do not connect two or more PV modules in series, as this will cause the input voltage to exceed 60 V.
• When stacking, tighten the M5 fixings to 2.5 Nm, as specified in the manual.
• Switch the system off completely before adding an additional battery module.
