This set is fully compatible with SolarEdge Home Hub and Storedge hybrid inverters, and thanks to the DC coupling and a round-trip efficiency of 94.5% you get the very most out of your solar energy.

The SolarEdge Home Battery 48V is a low voltage battery with Li-ion LFP cells, RS485 communication between modules and CAN bus to the inverter. Per module the continuous charge/discharge power is 2825 / 4096 W; with multiple modules this is 5000 / 5000 W. The peak round-trip efficiency is more than 95.4%. A maximum of 4 modules per tower is permitted; according to the current compatibility matrix, 1 to 5 battery modules are possible per compatible SolarEdge Home Hub 3-phase inverter. The battery module has IP65 / NEMA 3R, natural convection cooling, a noise level below 25 dBA, dimensions of 725 × 370 × 245 mm and a weight of 50.5 kg. Back-up is only possible in residential installations with a compatible SolarEdge Home Hub inverter and the SolarEdge Home Backup Interface. Storage-only installations require a SolarEdge meter; with AC coupling to a third-party power source, export limit is not supported in that configuration. Time-of-use, peak shaving, backup and SolarEdge-managed grid services are controlled within the SolarEdge ecosystem via compatible inverter, meter and software configuration.
