The SolarEdge Home Battery 23kWh Low Voltage Set is the largest possible configuration within the SolarEdge Home Battery system. With five battery modules, spread across one tower of 2 and one tower of 3, this set offers the maximum storage capacity of 23 kWh.

Thanks to DC coupling and an impressive round-trip efficiency of 94.5%, you make optimal use of your solar energy and minimise your dependence on the electricity grid. This set works perfectly together with SolarEdge Home Hub and Storedge hybrid inverters, but please note: backup functionality is only possible in combination with the Home Hub inverters and the SolarEdge Home Backup Interface.

The SolarEdge Home Battery 48V is a low voltage battery with Li-ion LFP cells, RS485 communication between the modules and a CAN bus to the inverter. Per module the continuous charge/discharge power is 2825 / 4096 W; with several modules this is 5000 / 5000 W. The peak round-trip efficiency is more than 95.4%. A maximum of 4 modules is permitted per tower; according to the current compatibility matrix, 1 to 5 battery modules are possible per compatible SolarEdge Home Hub three-phase inverter. The battery module has IP65 / NEMA 3R, natural convection cooling, a noise level below 25 dBA, dimensions of 725 × 370 × 245 mm and a weight of 50.5 kg. Backup is only possible in residential installations with a compatible SolarEdge Home Hub inverter and the SolarEdge Home Backup Interface. Storage-only installations require a SolarEdge meter; with AC coupling to a third-party power source, export limit is not supported in that configuration. Time-of-use, peak shaving, backup and SolarEdge-managed grid services are controlled within the SolarEdge ecosystem via a compatible inverter, meter and software configuration.
