The SolarEdge Home Battery 48V Wide accessories kit (IAC-RBAT-5KWACC-01) contains the mandatory floor stand and the top cover you need to build one battery tower. You need exactly one of these kits per tower, regardless of whether you stack one or four battery modules. That makes this set the mechanical and electrical base on which you place the SolarEdge Home Battery 48V Wide battery module. In short, without this kit your tower will not stand and will not work.

Well-considered design for a stable battery tower

Sturdy base with integrated cabling

The top cover from this kit routes the DC, earth and communication cabling to the inverter, while the floor stand keeps the tower level and stable. Thanks to the “Quick Connect” principle you connect the modules to each other without loose cables in between, so the installation goes quickly. Moreover, this set is matched to the SolarEdge Home Hub three-phase inverters, so you manage the whole system through a single app. This is how you easily build a scalable storage solution of up to 19.4 kWh per inverter. You combine this accessories kit with a matching inverter, such as the SolarEdge Home Hub 10.0 kW 3-phase.

Robust components for indoor and outdoor use

Matched to the IP65 protection class of the system

The components in this kit suit a battery tower that stands both indoors and outdoors, protected against water and dust. The floor stand measures 725 x 50 x 245 mm and the top cover 725 x 210 x 245 mm, so the complete tower with four modules and top cover reaches a height of 1735.5 mm. This keeps your cabling neat and compact. Because the components are non-combustible and stand on a stable surface, your installation stays safe and well organised. The system also cools passively through natural convection, so no fan is needed inside the enclosure.

Installation and mounting in practice

What to pay attention to during installation

• Mount the mandatory floor stand level on a stable, non-combustible surface.
• Stack a maximum of 4 modules on top of each other to form one tower, with only one tower per inverter.
• Keep free space all around: at least 30 cm above the tower and approximately 100 cm to the inverter.
• Tighten the M4x10 screws on the sides to a torque of 2 Nm.
• Switch off every module and the top cover before you start cabling, and observe the maximum cable length of 5 m.

When mounting, follow the manufacturer’s official installation manual and the applicable regulations.
