The SolarEdge Home Battery 9.2kWh Low Voltage Set is a complete bundle that lets you set up a powerful and efficient energy storage system with ease (please note: some items are optional and have to be ticked separately). This set contains every component you need to safely install two SolarEdge Home 4.6kWh Low Voltage batteries and connect them to your SolarEdge hybrid inverter.

With DC coupling and an impressive round-trip efficiency of 94.5%, this battery makes sure the solar energy you generate is stored and used optimally. You can also combine several sets to expand your storage capacity even further.

The SolarEdge Home Battery 48V is a low-voltage battery with Li-ion LFP cells, RS485 communication between the modules and CAN bus to the inverter. Per module the continuous charge/discharge power is 2825 / 4096 W; with several modules this is 5000 / 5000 W. Peak round-trip efficiency is more than 95.4%. A maximum of 4 modules per tower is allowed; according to the current compatibility matrix, 1 to 5 battery modules are possible per compatible SolarEdge Home Hub 3-phase inverter. The battery module has IP65 / NEMA 3R, natural convection cooling, a noise level below 25 dBA, dimensions of 725 × 370 × 245 mm and a weight of 50.5 kg. Back-up is only possible in residential installations with a compatible SolarEdge Home Hub inverter and the SolarEdge Home Backup Interface. Storage-only installations require a SolarEdge meter; with AC coupling to a third-party power source, export limit is not supported in that configuration. Time-of-use, peak shaving, backup and SolarEdge-managed grid services are controlled within the SolarEdge ecosystem through a compatible inverter, meter and software configuration.
