A SolarEdge inverter only works if every panel is fitted with a SolarEdge power optimizer.
The SolarEdge power optimizer P401 is suitable for solar panels up to 400 watt-peak. Use at least 8 of these P401 power optimizers in 1 string on your single-phase SolarEdge inverter, or at least 16 for your three-phase SolarEdge inverter. Mount the SolarEdge power optimizer P401 onto the mounting rail with a bolt. May be combined in 1 string with P370 power optimizers.

The SolarEdge power optimizer P401 is suitable for solar panels up to 400 watt-peak. The minimum string length for these power optimizers is 8 with a single-phase inverter, or 16 with a three-phase inverter.
Mount this SolarEdge power optimizer P401 onto the mounting rail with a bolt and channel nut, or 2 self-tapping screws. Mounting to the panel frame is also possible, with a bolt and lock nut.
This optimizer is also suitable for XL solar panels, and may be combined in 1 string with P370 power optimizers. Please note! It only works in combination with SolarEdge inverters.
