Solarstell Connect back plate Portrait

Solarstell Connect back plate portrait is a mandatory part of the Solarstell Connect portrait mounting system, because of the wind load. Secure it with 1 cladding screw per base element.

Every solar panel needs one back plate. With an east-west mounting system no back plates have to be installed, because the opposite solar panel blocks the wind sufficiently.

It is possible that the back plate is longer than the panel. In a row you can simply slide the back plates into each other, but with a single panel this is not possible. In that case you can grind off a small piece of the back plate, which leaves your warranty on the item intact.
