Solarstell Connect ballast tray portrait
The Solarstell Connect ballast tray is the place where the ballast goes into the system, so that it also stays put up to wind force 10! Because Solarstell is a linked system, a ballast tray does not have to be placed under every solar panel. What is more, generally only a little ballast is needed. So that saves on material costs, and of course it saves a lot of sore muscles!
The Solarstell Connect ballast tray is step 4 of the mounting plan. Another nice thing is that the ballast trays are fitted with recesses that fit exactly into the Solarstell base elements! After that you place the ballast in them, so they do not have to be fixed in place! Would you like to fix them anyway? That is possible with the Solarstell cladding screw. Weigh down the solar panel installation with ballast in the form of paving slabs, gravel, stones, etc.
The Solarstell Connect mounting system is supplied with a ballast plan in the box of the order. As standard we assume the ballast required at a height of 6 metres, in the province of the delivery address. We also assume that you keep neatly to the no go zone, and that you do not live within 300 metres of the coast. Place this ballast on or in the ballast trays.
Would you like to know in advance how many paving slabs you need? Ask our staff via the chat or by e-mail to make a ballast calculation!
